Patient I., 46 years old, admitted to Hospital No. 62 on March 28, 1997, complaining of constant pains in the left knee joint and some restriction of movements in it. Swelling of the lateral condyle of the femur had appeared 6 months earlier, which was followed by pain, for which the patient applied to the local outpatient clinic. The patient was diagnosed with osteoarthritis, underwent physiotherapy, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. However, the pain was increasing. X-ray of the knee joint was performed, which revealed destruction of the external condyle of the left femur. The patient was hospitalized.
