This paper provides information about the life and work of Igor Nikolaevich Grigovich, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Doctor of Russia, who is the founder of pediatric surgery in the Republic of Karelia and a scientist who made huge contributions to the development of surgical care for children of the Russian Federation.
