In the study, indices of individual stress-resistance were investigated in 122 primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) patients using the “Stress-resistance” battery of psychological tests. A predominance of patients with “lowered and low” individual stress-resistance among examined patients was found, as well as an absence of this individual characteristic lowering in patients with “acceptable” POAG characteristics at baseline by increasing disease duration.
