According to a number of authors, a highly informative way to assess the state of non-specific resistance is to determine the content of non-enzymatic cationic proteins (NPCs) of neutrophil granulocytes of peripheral blood. Non-enzyme cationic proteins, in addition to their participation in the preparation of bacteria for phagocytosis, also serve as mediators of the inflammatory reaction. We set a goal to identify the possibility of using the indices of non-enzymatic cationic proteins of leukocytes in patients with brucellosis to assess the severity of the disease and to predict its outcomes.
