The most objective and sensitive method of bronchial obstruction diagnosis is determination of maximal expiratory flow at different levels of bronchial tree. Despite the lack of clear boundaries of the norm, the flow indices according to spirography allow early diagnosis of bronchial permeability disorders, which facilitates the diagnosis of obstructive bronchitis and bronchial asthma.
