The problem of diagnostics and treatment of postoperative peritonitis and various intra-abdominal purulent complications is still one of the most urgent problems of emergency surgery. The lethality from peritonitis reaches 20-40% [1, 4]. Difficulties of diagnosing postoperative peritonitis are due to the layering of symptoms of the complication on the manifestations of postoperative condition and intensive care [5, 7]. Therefore, postoperative peritonitis is diagnosed at a late stage, which leads to delayed reoperations, and ultimately, to increased mortality.
