The literature devoted to this topical problem is extremely rich, but the leading place in it belongs to acute cerebral circulatory disorders, while in practice chronic cerebral vascular insufficiency is more common. This symptom complex is detected most often in elderly people, although in the last decade there are more and more publications about its detection at younger age.
