Dr. M. A. Nimcovitskaya-Schwartz: Clinical Observations on Calcemia. The report will be printed in full.-Prof. N. K. Goryaev and Dr. N. V. Puchkov spoke in the debates.Prof. A.V. Vishnevsky demonstrated a 4-year-old boy, operated for subdiaphragmatic echinococcus. Echinococcus was removed by transpleural method under local infiltration anesthesia. The operation was performed without complications, and the patient recovered quickly. On the basis of this case Prof. W. considers it possible to expand the indications for performing operations under local infiltration anesthesia. -Prof. N.V. Sokolov and Dr. L.B. Blinstein gave their conclusions on the demonstration.
