The autumn term of the new academic year began at the Kazan Institute for Usov. Physicians on 1/X. The Institute received more than 180 seconded doctors, mostly from rural areas, transport doctors, and city hospitals. This time the area from which the doctors came was much wider than before; especially many cadets arrived from the Caucasus, from Siberia, from the national republics of not only the Volga-Kama territory, but also from the most distant suburbs of the Union (Buryato-Mongolskaya, Uzbekistan).
