The III All-Ukrainian surgeons' congress was held in Dnepropetrovsk on September 10-14. It was attended by about 500 members, among whom over 300 came from near and far peripheries (Leningrad, Moscow, Turkmenistan, Baku, Tiflis, Samarkand). Representatives from Party, public, and scientific organizations pointed out in their greetings that the proletarian congress was an event of exceptional importance and a great cultural celebration; it demonstrated the unity of labor and science, charting the way for a successful fight against traumatism.
