The authors obtained very good results in 20 cases of pertussis treatment with ephedrine. The latter was given in an aqueous solution per os to children over 1 year old at a dose of 0.016, under 1 year old 0.008, in 6 cases only in the evening, in the rest both morning and evening. Complete elimination of convulsive cough and vomiting occurred in 18 cases.
