Summing up his observations, the author states first of all that the subcutaneous remedies do not act better than those taken internally, that their side effects are observed more often in weak subjects, and that some remedies have a locking effect and should therefore be taken together with laxatives. Of the individual remedies for sleep disorders, Valerian, Bromural, Adaline, etc. are often sufficient.
