The authors point out the frequent painfulness of the Achilles tendon of the diseased leg when pressing or pinching it in this disease. This seizure depends on the lesion of the sciatic nerve stem fibers and can therefore be used to distinguish sciatic nairalgia from lumbago and other diseases.
