The author describes an interesting case in which a patient of 23 years of age underwent radium treatment for cancer of the sleeve. Thirteen years afterwards the patient presented with complaints of urethral stricture-related disorders; in addition, she was found to have a severe narrowing of the rectum, but no signs of cancer were found anywhere.
