On the mechanism of hunger. Dr. E. A. Popov (Sovr. Psychonevr., 1927, No. 7-8)

The author has observed 3 cases where after epidemic encephalitis periodic attacks of hunger developed. In all cases these attacks were combined with rigid-akinetic syndrome, vegetative disorders and compulsive laughter.
