The author undertook the difficult task of laying out in 41 pages the practical methodology of psychotherapy for non-specialist doctors of psychoneurology, and this book deals with suggestive psychotherapy (hypnosis), rational psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis. In relation to each type of psychotherapy a number of examples-histories of illnesses from the fields of nervous, skin, internal, and female illnesses are given. An appendix provides information on the use of hypnosis in surgical (dental, gynecological) operations.
