The author distinguishes three degrees of hypoplasia of female reproductive organs on the basis of accurate measurements and control of sub-operatione organs: 1st degree is characterized by uterus length of 4-5 cm and presence of ovulation, which is proved by examination of ovaries;, uterine mucosa in these cases reveals often state of hyperplasia and absence of glycogen; 2nd degree is characterized by uterus length of 3-4 cm. and no signs of ovulation; in the uterine mucosa here, along with hypertrophic, atrophic processes are also observed; in the 3rd degree of hypoplasia the uterus is less than 3 cm in length, hypoplastic ovaries contain only primordial follicles, and the uterine mucosa is so atrophied that it yields no material when scraped.
