Dr. Heinz Ghapk describes (Munch. Med. W., 1933, No. 6) a case of infection with influenza bacilli after tonsillitis. A few days after the tonsillitis with tonsil abscesses passed, the patient developed: tremendous chills, high fever, rapid breathing, slight suffocation.
