Naito, referring to the course of diabetes, in connection with pregnancy, cites two cases of pregnancy with diabetes that he studied relatively accurately (diabetics rarely get pregnant) - one case of a mild form and the other of a severe one. In these cases, diabetes during pregnancy improved, sugar assimilation increased with the progression of pregnancy, glucosuria decreased, and subjective symptoms improved.
