The possibility of palpation of sutures on the head with fetal hydrocephalus through the abdominal wall was noted by Genter in 1929. The need to diagnose fetal perenashivanie with pelvic presentation forced us to use this opportunity, because the condition of the sutures, fontanelles and bones of the head is more informative than all other signs. For palpation of the suture and large fontanel with pelvic presentation, certain conditions are necessary: moderate thickness and sufficient relaxation of the abdominal wall, a shallow location of the head in the hypochondrium, the severity of the suture and fontanel (absence of overgrowth).
