For early detection of patients with chronic lung diseases, we used a simple and publicly available questionnaire proposed by Professor G.A. Smirnov. 527 railway workers (355 men and 172 women), who are under the supervision of a road clinic, were interviewed. The survey was carried out simultaneously with mass fluorography, which made it possible to reduce the time spent by respondents and medical personnel to a minimum.
