The treatment of trachoma is currently based on the use of copper preparations, the healing properties of which were known by the ancient Egyptians during this suffering. Therefore, the keen interest shown by ophthalmologists from different countries in the proposal of our compatriot Dr. Delano to treat trachoma ol. chaul- moograe is quite understandable.
