Many authors who studied patients with thyrotoxicosis long after the operation or the end of treatment indicate a significant improvement or recovery of the majority of patients (N. S. Logatkina, M. N. Kolomiychenko and A. N. Nazarenko, Zh.M. Vavrik, O. V. Nikolaev, D. Ya. Shurygin and others).
