Edinger (Med. Kl. 1931, No. 10) reports his two cases of pulmonary paratyphoid diseases (the phenomenon of lung abscess and exud. Pleurisy), you. par. V. was cultivated in both cases from sputum and in one case from pleuritic fluid. Current in vol. cases were relatively favorable.
