Oppenheim and Fessler dwell in detail on the still unresolved question of the dosage of the drug, citing a number of opinions of various authors who worked with spirocide; they believe that the final opinion about the value of the drug in general depends on the dose often: large and forced doses often give undesirable and sometimes very serious complications.
