L. Schmidt insists on the need not to lose sight of the possibility of a connection between these two groups of phenomena, which has long been known in England and America. It often happens that a rheumatic person's teeth seem to be in order, but in fact he has deep inflammatory processes, which can only be opened with x-rays, and after the elimination of which "rheumatism" disappears completely. The author provides 3 instructive case histories.
