Mosti offers a new method of treating acute purulent arthritis (according to ref. Zentr. F. Chir., 1926, No. 3) in the form of washing the joint with ether, which is injected with a syringe in an amount of 10 k. Cm for a few seconds, after which it is sucked out again.
