13 February p. g. in the meeting of the Oh-va of doctors at Kaz. the university adopted the following resolution on the recent elections to the Academy of Sciences; The events that excited the whole country, connected with the election of new academicians to the All-Union Academy of Sciences, did not pass by wide circles of members of the Society of Physicians at Kazan University. The Society of Physicians believes that the results of the ballot of the Academy plenum, in which the comrades Fritsche, Deborin and Lukin, elected by the sections of the humanities specialists, were not elected, indicate, undoubtedly, that not their scientific merits, but the circumstances of a non-academic nature that took place in the plenary , led to unexpected results that left the aforementioned comrades outside the walls of the All-Union Academy of Sciences.
