Mud therapy is closely related in our view to the mandatory stay at the resort. Beirakh (Ven. And Derm., 1928, No. 6), on a fairly large material (115 cases) of male gonorrhea, received good results from this method of treatment in an out-of-resort setting, using imported mud in autumn and spring. Indications for mud therapy, according to the author, are subacute and chronic complications of gonorrhea (epididymitis, prostatitis, arthritis); on the contrary, with acute complications of gonorrhea from mud therapy, the process deteriorated.
