Vogel (Zentr. F. Gyn., 1926, No. 24) suggests the following reaction for the diagnosis of pregnancy: to 10 to. S. the standard solution is added 1.75 to. from. investigated blood serum of the patient and 0.2 to. from. 1% aqueous solution of ninhydrin, after which all this is boiled for 3 minutes. in a water bath.
