A new way of closing the fistulas of the parotid gland is proposed by Hesse (Zentr. F. Chir., 1926, No. 22). First, an oval bordering of the fistula is made with a small skin incision, the ends of which are complemented by a 1-P / 3-centimeter incision. The direction of the incision depends on the position of the fistula, but more often the incision should be horizontal.
