Based on the data of questionnaires collected among German surgeons, prof. With about 1 megs (Deut. Med. Woch., 1925, No. 52) concludes that phrenicotomy with tbc of the lungs is not an independent operation acting on the process, but should only be a preliminary act before a more serious intervention.
