As you know, cardiac activity clearly obeys the Van't Hoff'a law, that is, it increases 2-3 times with an increase in temperature by 10 C [1]). By this, cardiac activity is characterized as a chemical process. Until now, however, we have not been able to grasp the nature of the chemical processes underlying the heartbeat, and yet the solution of this issue is of considerable interest in the general biological sense.
