Proceeding from the consideration that the main point in the origin of this disease, characterized by the appearance of erosions (plaques postrosives) in the circumference of the anus, is the contamination of urine and feces of the corresponding part of the body, Hedwig Kretzer (Zeit, f. Kinderheilk., B. 63, H. 3 ) drew attention to the urine reaction.
