The present report is an attempt of clinical analysis of our observations in order to emphasize the significance of individual symptoms of thrombophlebitic spleen and to clarify the indications for surgical intervention.In recent years we have followed up 13 patients with thrombophlebitic spleen. Of them: men-6, women-7; the patients' age varied from 17 to 46 years old.
