In the article, everything that is still known in the literature regarding hematomas of female external genital organs, the frequency of their appearance outside pregnancy, during pregnancy and childbirth and in the postpartum period, conditions, causes and mechanism of their origin, and finally, their recognition , the value for the body, outcomes and indications for one or another therapeutic intervention.
