Laroyenne's method, aimed at completely avoiding manipulations inside the abdominal cavity, consists in the fact that, after thoroughly disinfecting the abdominal wall and vagina and expanding the cervical canal, a special thick (No. 30 of Negar dilators) probe (hysterometre ) with a rounded tail, with which the uterus is lifted and brought up to the bottom until it touches the abdominal wall.
