Doctor Kitto reports a case of an ovarian (with removal of both tubes), which he performed on a 25-year-old girl about insanity. At the age of 13 she suffered scarlet fever, after which she developed insanity, or, as the author calls it, pseudo-insanity. The treatment in the course of ten years in special medical institutions had only a very short-term success. The symptoms of the disease intensified every year.
