(Doctor. 1897, No. 44, p. 1264).After brief historical and statistical indications regarding this operation, the author describes in detail 16 cases that had a place in the Smolensk province. zemstvo hospitalѣ in the course of 3 years (1894-1897). In case of uterine cancer, the operation was performed 12 times, with the outcome in recovery. They were operated on for 27--55 years. In some cases, recognition was confirmed using a microscope.
