The article describes the technology of metal finishing by surface-plastic deformation to improve the quality of the surface layer. The authors conducted the analysis of the mutual compatibility of geometrical and physical-mechanical characteristics of the surface after ultrasonic machining and gave practical advice on quality management of received products.
