The authors present the results on the stress distribution in a longitudinally strained three-layered elastic plane with the two identical vertically placed circular holes, received by using a variational finite-difference procedure for solving plane elastic problems for the holed rectangular domains. The paper examines the effects of layer elastic constants on the level of stresses around the holes.
