The paper examines the combined method of cutting-deforming machining of quill cylinder type nonrigid parts, which increases productivity, quality of machining and working accuracy. The basic feature of the method is that the machining process is accompanied with tensional and bending oscillations caused by geometrically induced errors in the workpiece cross-section, setting errors and various static and dynamic tuning errors of cutting and deforming tools (for example, the static tuning error of structural elements location of processing unit). On the basis of analysis of expressions for resultant error and oscillation equation the authors obtained formula which determines actual cutting depth and lateral force on the part when cutting. On analyzing the alternation of cross section of tube on the example of single-pass part cutting (with maximum transverse force) it was found that in the process of cutting the cross-section of the tube is deformed by negligible quantity.
