The paper describes the results of research of cutting properties of hard alloys WC-Co-carbides with Ti-(Ti,Al)N-TiN coating when turning of structural steels and hard-to-machine nickel alloys. Due to combination of high temperature toughness of carbide and wear resistant coating tools cutting properties increase in several times.
