The results on the stress distribution in a transversally compressed three-layered elastic plane with the two identical vertically placed circular holes, received by using a variational finite-difference procedure for solving plane elastic problems for the holed rectangular domains, are presented. The effects of the layers' elastic constants on the level of stresses around the holes are examined.
