Nowadays, when the production of cutting machines is realized by single or small-serial lots, the topical problem is the transition of base parts of machine-tools from cast to welded modification. However, the absence of experimentally-tested method, allowing to produce calculations and the optimization of welded base details, depending on particular conditions in every particular situation, suspends the process of their widespread introduction to machine-tool industry.
