The article considers an overview of formulas for the simplified determining the cutting forces during turning. It describes the recommendations for their use, as well - to evaluate the accuracy of the cutting forces, including the development of sub-modules for calculating cutting in САD/САМ/САЕ/РDМ - systems. The work can be interesting for experts in the field of metalworking, as well as for developers of the modules calculation of САD/САМ/САЕ/РDМ - systems and for students of the technical high schools.
