The article deals with the considering of native language of students in the study of Russian as a foreign language. Particular attention is paid to the difficulties associated with the transfer phenomena of native language in the target language (the interference). The authores explores some of the methodological approaches that facilitate the assimilation of non-native language phenomenon.
