This article focuses on the analysis of the pedagogical possibilities of modern information technologies in the study of foreign languages at the university. The article discusses commonly used modern educational software: Wordstock (program to work with the dictionary), Matchmaster (program choice correspondences), Choicemaster (program options to choose from), Crosswordmaster (program filling crosswords), Gapmaster (program to fill gaps) etc.
