The article investigates the professional and personal characteristics of a specialist of а new generation. Effective instrument for the formation of linguistic identity of a specialist is a subject "Foreign Language". Synergetic concept is seen as fundamental. The process of entering the Russian higher education in the European educational space is discussed.
