
Analysis of power flows distribution in the transmission of an articulated truck with an activated trailing unit

The article describes the results of mathematical modeling of steady linear motion of an articulated truck with activated trailing unit, with drive ensured by the adjustable hydrostatic transmission, on a non-deformable support surface. The analysis was performed in the range of gear ratios of driving wheels of the trailer, where the interaxial power circulation in transmission does not occur. Based on the studies the authors compared informativeness of various energy efficiency indicators of the considered multidrive wheel car.
